Cleanaway Port Adelaide Solid Waste Services

Red rubbish bin went missing after collection on 11/11. For the last 17 days I have been calling trying to organise a new bin delivery only to be met with failure after failure after failure. First, the person put in the wrong address, next our address wasn't in the shoddy system they use, after that the delivery driver couldn't find the address and didn't call to ask for directions, the next attempt was delayed as they are short staffed (I wonder why ...), the next attempt was supposed to be today (28/11). Got home, no bin, no attempted call, just another failure from Cleanaway. Come Monday I get to call again, and try again, as we enter week three of no waste collected.

Since this company took over our residential waste collection, we have not had ONE week where all bins in our street get collected. When we call about the missed bins we get promises, but no delivery on service. Often waiting until the next bin collection day. Seriously disgusting service. They actually don't care. Their customer service is absolute rubbish.

I live in the cbd and 2 weeks in a row my bin has not been emptied I ring up and get told ring back tomorrow we are busy. Completely usless

Cleanaway Services are a very difficult organisation to deal with. I had to wait 6 months for a credit for a pick up that I cancelled. I had previously cancelled pick ups but because I was unaware that I needed a job number I was changed for emptying an empty bin. When I cancelled my account I was charged $339 to take the bins away. It is in the contract but it is a rip off. Will never use cleanaway again and would not recommend them at all

Have a very strange reputation for missing domestic bins. I made an enquiry 3 times via 2 emails and 1 phone call in the span of 8 working days and they still couldn't complete the enquiry. How do you honestly miss bins when they're literally placed out for you 🤦🏽‍♂️ what a joke of a waste company, how do they even earn their contracts

So, we are now at Day 6 since the green waste bins on one side of our street were missed. Multiple contacts since then, directly with Cleanaway and then out of frustration via the Council. Despite several assurances, each deadline has passed. The council was even given an assurance of when a pickup would occur ; that was meant to be by 6.00pm last night (5 days after they were first missed). STILL hasn't happened. What is going on Cleanaway ????????

General waste bins have not been emptied for four days between 31 - 47 Hamilton Road, Woodville North since 28 June 2024 after numerous calls to Cleanaway. What a disappointed company! I would give a zero if there is one.
