Recycling Centre Balcatta

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say thank you so much to all the team worker's at Balcatta recycling centre especial thanks to Lyndon for helping suggestion us for the materials and items for building a wonderful garden. If you need any help ? Ask for Lyndon he's a great helper.also the pink hair girl I don't know her name she's a wonderful person always helpful..Here are some pictures of most of items we bought from Balcatta recycling and used them to make our beautiful garden. thank you all . I’ve been here many times but unfortunately the weigh-bridge payment system lets this facility down. The single line slow payment system often results in massive queues, which makes your stay there excessively long. My second last time, I bailed before the turn off due to the line being backed up onto the road, and at my last visit we were all stuck in a standstill for 15 minutes for no apparent reason resulting in old mate speaking to the manager! Please improve the payment/tip pass processing speed so locals do the right thing. Update: my latest visit on 30th January they weren’t taking cardboard.

Very rude and impatient Indian male on receivals today. I had a trailer load of furniture. Refused to take 2 single dining chairs (retro - no damage) 'we only take 4 or 6 chairs' a small retro china cabinet - the back damaged by him handling it, then said he can't take damaged items! I had an Australian made leather recliner chair, in the back of my wagon. He wouldn't even look at the chair and told me to take it and the items he deemed not worthy to the tip section. I commented that I'd seen damaged items in the onsite shop and his answer was 'that's because staff aren't trained' The young staff appeared to be afraid of him and to make a decision, would not want to have to work with this person 🙁

Very well organised refuge tip. From recyclable balls to plastics to electronics to rubble you name it you can bring it here we'll stop they also have a Weightbridge and well organised guys to tell you where to tip and park Definitely take a mask as I'm sure you can understand it stinks and lots of dust flying around

Good greenwaste disposal facility but what should be a simple in and out system is held up for some reason with a massive line. Never seen any other tip that has lines like this place. Expect to be sitting for at least half an hour.

wow some unhappy customers here! i thought it was great on my first visit... yes a lot of the indoor stuff is much like an op shop, but there's lots of construction salvage and landscaping stuff. one happy customer here!
