Beenleigh Waste & Recycling Facility

Been here once before with my brother in laws trailer full of stuff and was fine and the old guy at the guy was really nice. But for some reason the chick today said it was too big despite it being a normal, single axle box trailer. So guess be careful whos on the gate when you go. Edit: reading other comments its seems to be the same chick that all the one star reviews are for turning bs loads back for "being too big" or trying to extort people

Staff always friendly and polite. Love dropping my free green waste and utilising my four free vouchers a year for general. Sometimes awkward coming out with traffic but I'm sure an extra widening of Wuraga Rd would make that easier.

Zero stars if I could. Advertised price is $15 for half a small trailer, yet I was charged $35 for a medium load even though my rubbish was minimal and easily fit in the back of a sedan. I was initially asked to pay $55 for a large load until I pointed out how small it actually was. I was told prices are charged at her discretion. Very dishonest and rude — would not recommend.

Great customer service here Place is often busy but easy directions Price is better than many councils for a load of refuse as well

The staff were nice but it’s stupid how locals have to pay to remove general waste or even metal. They’re making money on the metal skip bins. But for locals to have to pay to remove general waste is stupid. No wonder people just put their rubbish in random spots. Council will then have to go collect it for free. Best bet it’s the last time I’ll be paying to take things to the local tip.

Fabulous staff particularly those working over the Christmas New Year period. The blonde lady in the weighbridge was incredible, directing and assessing loads at what was an extremely busy time. This is a wonderful facility and a credit to staff and council.

The pricing is through the roof... This is why people dump their rubbish on the side of the road... Ok some are just lazy scum, others simply just can't afford it ......because it's way to steep. Lower the pricing council, give back to the community !! It is run well, but it is a tight space, so not great when busy
