We have had an extremely disappointing experience dealing with Remondis. A tenant vacated our property over six months ago and failed to arrange collection of their bins. Since then, the bins have been abandoned on site. We have contacted Remondis multiple times requesting collection, as they are no longer associated with any active tenant and are now overflowing with rubbish, littering the surrounding area, attracting rodents, and blocking access to our new tenants’ car park. Despite explaining the situation repeatedly, we were told over the phone that this was "not their problem." This response shows a complete lack of customer service, accountability, and environmental responsibility. The ongoing issue has created both a hygiene concern and a significant inconvenience for current residents. It is extremely disappointing that a waste management company would show so little care for environmental impact or community standards. We expected a practical solution or at minimum some willingness to assist. Instead, we were met with dismissal and no support whatsoever.
I’m not a direct customer of Remondis but after the incident I had with one of their drivers I wouldn’t use their business if they paid me. Was stuck behind one of their garbage trucks (rego: XO56LY) completely blocking a laneway street to collect waste on Yurong Lane Darlinghurst (Friday 27 February approx 2pm). Our car and another two cars waited patiently for 10 minutes while the driver just collected bins completely ignoring the fact that we couldn’t get through. No apology and no indication whatsoever of how long he would be. I eventually got out to ask him how many more bins he had left to collect. This was greeted with a whole barrage of instant verbal abuse, swearing, aggression and threatening behaviour. Then he started a childish outburst that he was going to keep his truck there longer just out of spite just because we had asked how long he would be. Even more comical when he tried to tell me I was the aggressor. It was only when I threatened to call the police that he finally moved and I’ll be following up on the police report I lodged. If this driver represents Remondis then I would stay away.
signed up for an account. bin was supposed to arrive Monday, sat around waiting for it for it to never come with no communication from them, supposed to come Tuesday.... apparently their truck broke down but definitely coming Wednesday.... now Thursday, no bin, no communication from them. Cancel the account. useless company, poor communication. they also try to charge $10 per digital invoice.... even though they don't mention it in the quote, they slip it into the contract.
Staff on the phone and attending our site are always friendly and super efficient. Love how easy and pleasant our interactions are. It has kept me from changing providers, based purely on the excellent staff. Thank you
We had a major building fire opposite our premises and there was no access for two days. When the bin pick up driver finally got access we had a huge pile of waste and recycling, not only did both drivers do multiple bin lifts but they also helped us load the massive piles beside the bins. With all we had been through and all the problems we have had this act of consideration and kindness has really made us a customer for life. Thank you for going beyond what was ever expected, we appreciate it more than you can imagine.
Just had a performance from one of the redmonis truck drivers. Waiting to pick up a disabled person, YES I was parked in 'no parking'. (However was in the car) Would have been more than happy to move the car, but truck driver went straight into a rant about it being 'no parking'. Can't and will not repeat some of the words he said to me. Seems the poor man has ingested some of the rubbish he's collected. What a terrible excuse for a man. Grown up school yard bully. If it wasn't so sad for him, it would be funny.
Poor service, the bins were not pick up on so many occasions. Customer service is rude and inconsiderate, they made out like we owe then something when we actually paid for the service. Not sure how they get the job as customer service. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
