Wow! What a great idea for recycling sustainably. After hoarding and not knowing where to go with certain items e.g. electricals Google and Penrith Council offered me a solution. Vililame was so helpful when my son and I arrived. He assisted us to sort and we even had a friendly chat to pass the time. Will be definitely going back when I need to recycle difficult objects. Thanks so much from Helen 😀
I always come to Penrith CRC to drop off anything that can be recycled and isn't appropriate for general waste. Viliame is the most wonderful, kind and patient staff member - he is always super helpful and makes the whole drop off process so much easier!
Penrith Community Recycling Centre: A valuable resource for the community The Penrith Community Recycling Centre is a great place to dispose of hazardous waste and other items that are difficult to recycle at home. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they can advise you on what can and cannot be recycled. The centre is also well-organized and easy to navigate. I highly recommend the Penrith Community Recycling Centre to anyone looking for a convenient and environmentally responsible way to dispose of waste. I have added a few photos to this review to show what they do and don't take
Viliame helped immensely by sorting through our old electrical items for recycling. He had such a happy, positive attitude and made the whole process easy and stress-free.
Finally took my hazardous stuff to CRC. Viliame was doing his job, but could not have been more pleasant. He made my day! Thank you Viliame.
Willy is awesome. He'll help you sort what goes where.
Very rude staff, the Aboriginal guy there is not only rude, he is also selectiving about people to accept items. Once I went with my van and he refused to accept the items claiming because I driving a van I must go to the tip as driving a van is a sign of being tradie and this center is not meant for tradies! I wanted to get rid of my old TV, What does it have anything to do with driving aVan or being a Tradie? This guy is not meant for this job or anything related to customer service as he does not even know how to speak politely. I witnessed he does the similar behaviour to others. Penrith council should really come to a solution since this is not how customer service should be.
