A Place one should visit !! Great initiative ! I had a brilliant experience at the Traralgon Transfer Station recently. After months of accumulated household waste cardboards, packaging, and other general rubbish, I finally decided to clear it all out. I packed everything in black garbage bags, loaded the car, and drove down to the site on Liddiard Road. The drive itself was quite peaceful a short trip just outside the town, surrounded by open space and no city noise or pollution. As I arrived, a staff member greeted me at the gate with a tablet. He was incredibly polite and helpful. I showed him the waste in my vehicle, and he quickly assessed the volume and quoted a very minimal fee based on what’s clearly explained on the Latrobe City Council website. There were no surprises, no fuss. From there, the process was seamless. I was guided to a spot where a conveyor system made it super easy to unload everything. Within minutes, it was all done. This place is efficient, clean, and eco-friendly. If you’ve got extra rubbish from a house party, spring cleaning, or just beyond your weekly pickup limit this is the perfect solution. Easy process, kind staff, and very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend it to everyone in the Traralgon area!

Times on website do not reflect the times open now twice this week we have traveled to the traralgon sitethis week. First time to discover it's not open week days now and then again today Sunday28th march, and again not open. Security guard was seeding people to Morwell, we travelled there only to find it was also closed
Friendly, professional and efficient. Staff are always helpful and nothing is a hassle.
Attendant was friendly and helpful. Hard waste vouchers are recommended because it is extremely expensive. $30 to dump a mattress for example.
the check in process was very slow which resulted in long queue time. 15 mins for 30 second drop off
