PLEASE stop sending trucks out in the wee hours of the morning to garbage disposal sites that are so darn close to residential areas it disrupts everyone’s sleep (specifically the PARQ residences) from all the banging of the bins and loud shouting. We’ve made MULTIPLE complaints and the trucks don’t stop coming before 6am. I work shift work and would really appreciate not being rudely woken up all the time.

Submitted an online request for a bin repair on Friday with an expected repair within 3-5 business days. Monday morning the bin gets emptied by a garbage truck and an hour or so later another truck turns up and gives me a brand new bin. Even writes my street number on the outside!! Outstanding work. 5 stars, thank you for wonderful service Remondis.

They didn’t empty my bin, when I called I was told there was an extra bin out front of my units and that I should just steal a neighbours bin and leave my full one to rot in the street

Extremely rude condescending receptionist who answered the Wollongong number Tuesday 17th June 2025 at approx 4.40 pm . I have asked her to review the recording of my phone call to correct her errors. Needs retraining in customer liaison and basic manners. I would very much like to complain to a manager please. Disgusting service .

We have one of the smallest red bins, yet it consistently fails to get emptied properly. I haven’t reported it before, but every week there’s things left at the bottom. today was the last straw. The bin was ‘attempted’ to be emptied, but because there was a garbage bag inside? Like just a bag full of rubbish it wasn’t emptied! This is unacceptable- the lady who I called told me not to use bags they prefer bags not to be used. What! They clearly aren’t trying hard enough, as I was able to easily lift the bag in and out myself and I can’t imagine if I was upside down doing it 🤣 Get the green drivers to do it that guy flips bins multiple times and it works a treat With the issue of flies this time of year, it’s essential the bin is emptied properly—it’s becoming unbearable and the last 3 weeks is getting worst with half bins full still.

Our neighbour had a visitor who parked their vehicle in front of our bin on bin collection day. That meant that the bin lorry couldn’t empty the bin. I called Remondis Harbour Cities at 09:00 and by 10:30 a lorry had passed by and emptied it. What an outstanding service! It could’ve been so easy to say "wait until next collection day" but the lady was super helpful. Just a great all round awesome service 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Terrible service. Driver got out of vehicle and removed unauthorised materials from my neighbours bin and threw them in my yard. Called them and they verified that the driver was seen getting out of the truck but he told them he was putting things back in the bin. Provided them a picture of the mess and they asked me to clean it up and put it back in the bin for them to pick up rather than sending the driver back to clean up the mess.
